Showers and Storms overnight into tomorrow morning – then much dryer and pleasant

As a strong cold front approached from the west overnight tonight into the morning hours, some showers and maybe a heavy gusty thunderstorm will move though with it.

Arrival/passage of front appears to near the 8AM Saturday morning. But Showers and thunderstorms arriving well ahead of the front.

A strong to severe line of showers and thunderstorms currently over central PA will be moving into our area overnight. Although much of the severe aspect of this line is expected to weaken some, there’s still the possibility of heavy rain, gusty winds and dangerous lightning in and around our area. The heaviest rains near daybreak.

For the rest of tonight…clear and becoming cloudy late. Breezy with winds from the SSE 10-15 MPH. Low Temperature 71.

Tomorrow: Rain and showers lingering and ending by late morning. Skies breaking for some sun by afternoon and becoming very pleasant as much dryer air moves in. Skies clear out by mid to later after High 86. Breezy – dryer west winds 12-18 MPH.

Clear and cool tomorrow night – calmer winds – low 59.
